Mast

The proprietary all‐steel Mast is made from 5 mm (0.19 in) thick 1084 tubular steel sections. The sections are joined and precision‐welded in holding jigs to ensure precise alignment of the Mast’s base ring and Drum‐Axle holding tube. After welding, the Mast is then hand‐polished and chrome‐plated.

The all‐steel Mast is bolted to the aluminum Mast‐Plate on the Base‐Board with 6 hex bolts. Once fastened to the Mast‐Plate, the Mast provides the vertical strength and rigidity necessary to support torque and lateral forces that are exerted on the Axle‐Rod, Drum and Ball‐Tether during high‐speed club/ball impact.
